Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This is Mark Messner from VCCS who had the pleasure to work by your side at our school on the June 5th work day. I can’t believe all that you accomplished. I am in total awe. You were and are an answer to my prayer. Earlier this year I was sitting at one of the lunch tables at school wondering how am I going to get all the things done that needs to get done. My wife and son are heading to Korea this summer to see family so I was thinking I would spend most of the summer at the school working trying to get things ready for the fall. Then, we had a couple of break-ins and some vandalism and some theft. Now, I will be able to still work there but not with the panicked feeling of trying to accomplished everything and then later with the depressed feeling of not being able to complete it all.
Today, at the school, the kids were having fun playing in the playground with all the wonderful new wood chips. It was great to hear their laughing in the air. The teachers and some parents noticed all the work that was done in the other areas too. Some were walking around saying “Praise the Lord”. I had the pleasure of telling people about all of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This seems too little but my heart jumps with joying knowing that you made many kids happy and made their place of study and fellowship better. You’ve helped make a kids childhood better and it’s my prayer that they will remember this and pass it on one when they are older.
The Lord will bless you from the blessing you poured onto us. You’re all in my prayers of praise to OUR Lord. Thank you
Mark Messner
