Discovery Church Tackles Community Room Project in Simi Valley

Sonja’s Porch
Jeff and his crew did a great job rebuilding Sonja’s porch on Friday, and my crew came on Saturday to paint it. Sonja was a little overwhelmed with the transition.
Subfloor Replacement
This project is a sub-flooring replacement and rebuilding of a back deck. Four hundred dollars in materials went to rebuild the deck which is also part of the back subfloor. It was a lot of work with some expert labor and it turned out really well.
ACTION hosted the 5th Annual Ventura County Community “Serve Day” on May 31st to June 1, 2008. We anticipated over 3,000 volunteers from 50+ Ventura and West Los Angeles county churches.
