Ventura County, California, November 14th, 2007 – ACTION Foundation, a community based outreach group, will be sponsoring their 4th annual Community Christmas Shoppe locations. This event brings together volunteers from over 30 area churches to serve 600+ local low income families in providing toys for Christmas. These events have been a huge success over the last three years; a third location has been added in Simi Valley.

There will be 3 Christmas Shoppe locations this year scheduled for early December in Newbury Park, Oxnard, and Simi Valley. Qualified low income families are invited from participating churches and social service agencies such as Sarah’s House, Lutheran Social Services, Housing Authority, Prototypes, City Impact, Salvation Army and Project Understanding.

Newbury Park First Christian Church will host the Shoppe on Saturday, Dec 8, St Paul’s United Methodist in Oxnard and Simi Presbyterian in Simi Valley will host the Shoppe on Saturday Dec 15.
