What an incredible day,
there were so many people at my house serving me, I felt like a sugar cube
with ants all over me! Everyone was wonderful, thank you so much. --J.

I was just blown away yesterday with
all those people from Simi Prez Church through A.C.T.I.O.N. to bless me. I
couldn't believe so many would be here, all in uniform and ready to work. What
they did here just in housecleaning and organizing alone would have taken me
weeks due to my bipolar disability. Outside repairs were done as well including
filling in the planter with cement and fixing the broken sprinkler pipe. This
was such a blessing and I thank you and those that served me from Simi Prez.
Church immensely. While they were here it motivated me to clean to since
I struggle with that often. Also, it took my mind off of all my other problems. Everyone
was very friendly and I was so happy to see all the kids; it made my day
!! Our home is much more livable now !! Thank you
so much. May God Bless you all !!

A
young family from Love
Wins Church worked
together at Manna Food Bank. When they were finished, their
5 year old asked, “Mom and Dad, can we come back and do this again tomorrow?” They
had a wonderful time and they will be back.
From a servant --- I learned some things from this experience Service means turning it ALL over to God. Ask God to purify my ego and my judgments so that the Holy Spirit can move freely through me; “be transformed by the renewing of my mind”. I know that I might have fared better had I taken a few breaks that day and prayed for Holy Spirit to move through me. I also did not drink water---not good---because I did not want to go into the house to use the facilities---bad judgment in 2 respects. Getting sick allowed me the time to hear God speak to me for renewal and healing of body & spirit.------and next time I will remember to pray, drink water, and wear a mask!
We had five adults and five young people between the ages of 17-19 attend the Mound Guest Home. We entertained the residents with signing and one of the young girls did ballet. The residents seemed to enjoy it and asked us to come back. Some asked us to take them home with us. We plan to go back every three months. Thank you for the opportunity once again. --Pastor Steve, CVCC

It was a really great day. We all felt these people truly needed our help, they were very happy we were there. The unanimous feedback from our group is that we would love to do it again! There was another large group working at other units in the mobile home park, from Conejo Valley Community Church. They were fantastic, and it was a great feeling to work alongside them. --Yolanda B.
