We are blessed to see how Jesus Christ is being proclaimed more and more in Ventura County and beyond as a result of Christians uniting together to serve those in need. To help in meeting these and other upcoming challenges, we are seeking on-going monthly financial support from individuals, businesses, and churches. Our prayer is that we can help even more to get Christian volunteers engaged in service to our community and united together in living out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Whenever you need to search online, go to GoodSearch and fill in the box identifying your charity with ACTION Foundation and click Verify. Save the page for future searches….easy as that. Ralphs
You can donate to ACTION by participating in the Ralphs Community Rewards program:
- Register online at Ralphs.com
- Have your Ralphs Club Card(s) available and register yourself with ACTION by following the easy online directions. Please enter ACTION NPO number 90494 when asked for it.
If you don’t have a Ralphs Club Card, please visit the customer service desk at any Ralphs. Remember, purchases will not count for ACTION until after you register your card(s).
Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 800-660-9003 to get your Club Card number.
Participants must swipe their registered Ralphs Club Card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Ralphs Club Card when shopping for each purchase to count.
How does ACTION Benefit?
Ralphs will pay each organization on a quarterly basis based on the following monthly qualifying purchases per household:
–Up to $200 per month of eligible purchases — 1%
–Between $200.01 and $350 per month of eligible purchases — 2% of amount over $200
–Between $350.01 and $500 per month of eligible purchases — 3% of amount over $350
–Over $500 per month of eligible purchases — 4% of amount over $500
Ralphs limits a quarterly household contribution to $150

ACTION is approved as a non-profit recipient through AMGEN’s Staff Volunteer Grant Program. Our AMGEN ID is 18785.
If you are or know an employee with AMGEN who has volunteered or is planning to volunteer with ACTION, here are the guidelines for an employee to submit volunteer hours. If you know of an employee with AMGEN, please forward this information. The AMGEN employee must accumulate 15 hours of volunteer service with ACTION before AMGEN will pay matching grant funds to our organization. The volunteer can record PAST hours that they have already served this year. The volunteer should keep the descriptions in the realm of serving the community with food/clothing/service. The name to look for is “Area Christians Taking Initiative on Needs” in the Amgen Staff Volunteer Program page.
In-kind Contributions
Can You Supply a Ministry Need?
ACTION partners with many ministries and agencies that are serving those in need. You can help by making in-kind contributions of goods or services. Some examples are shown below, but this is not an exhaustive list. Contact the ACTION Ministry Center at 805-987-0300 if you are considering blessing others through an in-kind gift.
