Valiant Men To Host Annual Charity Car Show

Simi Valley, CA

The Valiant Men Ministries of Simi Valley Presbyterian Church will be hosting their third Annual Charity Car Show on Saturday, July 12th. 

This event runs from 7:00am – 11:00am and will be held at the Simi Valley Town Center located at 1555 Simi Town Center Drive in the Center Parking Lot (in the Farmer’s Market area).

Visitors will have the opportunity to view a vast variety of hot rods, classic automobiles, muscle cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vintage vehicles.  This will be a wonderful occasion for both car owners and enthusiasts to get together and discuss their “favorite rides.”

This event is FREE to the public, but voluntary donations are welcome.

Proceeds from all voluntary donations will specifically benefit the ACTION Foundation’s Foster Youth Ministry.  ACTION Foundation is a Christian outreach ministry in Ventura County, facilitating service projects and outreach opportunities with churches and other agencies to reach those most in need.

ACTION’s Foster Youth Program partners with a number of social service agencies that serve foster children and youth in Ventura County to provides transitional assistance.  When their host families stop receiving funding, many of these new adults are at risk for unemployment, homelessness, and incarceration when they are “aged out” of the foster care program.  The mission of ACTION’s Foster Youth Program is to provide both financial and hands-on aid in the areas of summer camp activities, temporary housing, educational mentoring, and employment counseling to any foster child age fifteen or older.

The Valiant Men Ministries is a collective organization offering the brotherhood of men helping men grow closer to Christ.

There will also be vendors, live “Cruisin’ & Surfin’” music, and Hot Rod Magazine in attendance.  Be sure to visit Cinnabon to taste their delicious pastries as 20% of all their food sales will be donated back to ACTION.  Be sure to get your coupon from the car show booth.
