Ventura County, California, September 21, 2009
ACTION Foundation, a community based outreach group, will be sponsoring
their 6th annual Community Christmas Shoppe’s benefiting
Ventura County families in
need. This event brings together volunteers from over 40 area churches
to serve 900+ local low income families providing toys for Christmas.
These events have been a huge success over the last five years; a fifth
event site has been added this year in Ventura.
If you are interested in hosting a toy collection box or having a toy drive at your business, church or school contact the ACTION office. Donations of new toys, new clothing, sporting goods, bicycles and computers are already being accepted to the ACTION Ministry Center warehouse located at 406 Constitution, Camarillo. Please contact the ACTION office, 805 987-0300, visit www.actionvc.org for more details or to make an appointment to drop off donations. We also accept cash donations specifically for the purchase of additional toys.
ACTION Foundation is a California non-profit, facilitating service projects and outreach opportunities with churches and other agencies to reach those most in need. All donations are tax deductible.
